HOW DO I GET MY AIR CON/HEATING UNIT SERVICED

1. Contact your concierge or email Tony at (email redacted) and tell them you want your unit(s) cleaned or fixed. RMC’s maintenance team will come by, check the unit and let you know if all you need is a cleaning or if you need a part replaced or fixed. If there is a part needed, they will let you know what the part is and approximately how much it will cost to replace or fix it.

2. Once Tony’s team has looked at your unit, the Skyview Concierge will make the arrangements for Adams HVAC and Controls to come and do the work. The Concierge will coordinate a time with you for Adams HVAC to come.

3. Adams HVAC will come on the arranged day and remove your unit for servicing. They will perform the work at Skyview (space has been made for them) and test the unit. They will bring the unit back to your apartment that same day and reinstall it. Admas HVAC will present you with an invoice and you will pay the company directly by check or by cash.

The above procedure applies any time you have a problem with your air con/heater units. Just notify the Skyview Concierge and Tony’s team will come to check it out.

AGAIN, WE URGE EACH OWNER TO HAVE YOUR UNITS CLEANED NOW. YOU WILL HAVE TO GET YOUR UNIT SERVICED AT SOME POINT ANYWAY AND THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE MORE IT CAN COST YOU. IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN AND SIGNIFICANTLY EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR AIR CON/HEATING UNIT.

FOR QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL TONY AT (email redacted) AND COPY YOUR BOARD MEMBERS ON THE EMAIL

Thank you and we wish everyone a pleasant summer.

Willets Point Party Noise Affecting Sky View Parc Residents

Good weather comes with extreme noise from the weekend Willets Point block parties that may cause your Sky View Parc windows to vibrate throughout the night, and a loss of sleep.

You must call 311 to report it when the noise is directly affecting your Sky View Parc condo unit that faces Willets Point.

The police department will send out a patrol to the Willets Point party if enough people call to report it at the same time. Organize with your neighbors to call 311 at the same time if necessary.

The key is having enough people call 311 to report it at the same time.

Don’t bother contacting concierge to have concierge call 311 because that only counts as 1 call in the 311 system about a noise complaint, which is considered low priority due to the low number of calls with unique phone numbers. If low priority, the police patrol may show up at Willets Point at 8AM when the party’s already over, and you didn’t sleep a wink because you didn’t do your part to call 311 directly and immediately.

Reporting Garage Incidents and Concerns (Sky View Parc Residential Garage)

The following notice was sent to all Sky View Parc residents on April 11th 2016, and it may be picked up from the lobby area.

*****

Dear SVP Residents,

Please be advised that all residential garage incidents should be reported to Manhattan Parking Group (MPG) to ensure the safety of your vehicle and belongings.

Types of incidents to report are but not limited to: missing items from your vehicle, exterior damage, unauthorized changes to dash cams, lack of service, etc. Unless incidents are reported on file, the garage operator will not be responsible for items missing and damaged.

A reminder to always ask for a claim ticket when parking your vehicle. This is to ensure your rights as a customer in the event of a dispute.

You are also advised to not retrieve your own vehicle, by doing so MPG is not responsible for any incident during that process.

Please email Jamel C. at (email redacted) and copy svp.board@gmail.com on all incident reports and garage concerns so we may help you follow up accordingly.

Borrowing Luggage Carts from the Main Lobby and the Implementation Of A Fine For Delinquent Carts (Sky View Parc Notice)

The following notice was sent to all Sky View Parc residents on March 28th 2016, and it may be picked up from the lobby area.

*****

The joint boards have implemented a system to ensure that borrowing Luggage Carts is easy and fair to every resident.  The problem has been that some residents borrow a luggage cart and leave it in the garage, the tower lobby, or the hall way.  When this happens, it means no one else can use it until it is returned and that the concierge must take time to retrieve it themselves and take it back to the main lobby.

Luggage Carts are not to be used for heavy furniture e.g. beds, sofas, tables, etc. or the transport of building materials by contractors, e.g. sheet rock, boxes of heavy tiles, lumber etc.

Please take a few minutes to review the new procedure below to borrow a luggage cart.

When you wish to borrow a luggage cart, you will need to register at the main lobby concierge, providing your name and apartment number.  This information will be recorded along with the date and time the cart is borrowed.  You will be given one hour for use of the cart.   If you need more time, then you can request up to 2 hours.  All carts must be RETURNED TO THE MAIN LOBBY ON TIME.  If a cart is not returned on time, the concierge will record it as delinquent and a warning will be issued for the apartment and recorded.  If, in the future, there is a second time for that apartment that a cart is not returned on time, then a fine of $200 will be issued.

The registration of residents wishing to borrow a cart is already in effect at the main lobby concierge and you should start using it now.

If you have any questions, please contact your board representative or speak with the main lobby concierge.
